We are looking to do a 30-day extension to the maturity of a HELOC. Do we need change in terms document signed by the client? What other documentation would we need?

Thank you for all of your help. It is greatly appreciated.

Before or after maturity? Before is no problem from a Reg. Z standpoint as long as you are not changing any terms. After maturity, it would be considered a new plan and subject to disclosures.

As far as what you need signed and the content of the extension agreement - that is a question for your legal counsel.

And also if you are extending the maturity you need to verify the flood determination is still valid.
