The CFPB issued a statement on its Prepaid Account Rule, indicating they expect to further extend the effective date to allow additional time for implementation of the final rule. This was included in the BOL daily compliance briefing on 12/22/17. Has anything further been issued on this by the CFPB?

The denizens of Washington's bureaucracies are just now trickling back into the office from the holidays. They accomplish little or nothing between December 15 and January 15. We are probably better off for it.
