Has anyone had instances where SCRA searches where the SSN was input, however the certificate shows XXX-XX-XXXX for the SSN instead of showing the last 4 digits? Are these valid searches? I have this for one person for 3 separate searches performed for the same person, months apart.

I've not heard of that and if the SSN were invalid you should get an error code or message to that affect. You might call the DMDC and ask after ensuring the SSN is being input correctly.

It is strange. I have the input screenshots showing that the correct SSN (without dashes) was input. I have also re-tried for the same borrowers, but my certificate shows the last 4 digits, not a full masking with the Xs.
