Pretty much the entire region surrounding New Orleans is closed on this day; parades all over the place. The last gasp celebration prior to Lent. Hope you can take a minute to enjoy a virtual parade.

go to the store, buy one, then bring it back and "poof" someone will have walked in with one - you!

we did our traditional lunch for the group from popeyes, and of course had king cake as well
