I see several posts on this topic but cannot find a direct answer. If a MLO leaves a company prior to closing and their NMLS # is printed on the note, final 1003, etc. what are the ramifications? I see where some say they have had to repurchase loans sold to investors because of this. Should the lender issue revised documents just to correct the nmls #? Thank you!

If you are selling into the secondary market, you would have to ask your specific investor that question.
