May be a crazy question, but does anyone offer FMLA even if you have less than 50 employees?

Yep, we do. But we only have 48 hours of sick time each year that doesn't roll over (gets deposited into an account at your current pay rate that you get when you leave on good terms). So if something happens, you can take your vacation time and sick time to keep your paychecks coming until you've exhausted that time.
