Question- I’m reworking a first mortgage on an investment property the only changes to the note will be rate reduction and releasing a third borrower. Third borrower will continue to be on the Mortgage so our lien position will not change. So I’m thinking that I do not need to reordered title work as the mortgage remains unchanged. Thoughts…. I don’t want to have a compliance issue down the line Thank you

Compliance and title insurance requirements have nothing in common. Questions regarding whether such a change will impact the validity of you current title policy is a question for the title company that issued the original policy.
