Has anyone tried using this new proxy method developed by an OCC staffer? BIFSG Proxy Method It uses both given and surnames, along with geography in estimating race and ethnicity, and is supposed to improve the accuracy of estimation of race and ethnicity, especially for non-Hispanic Blacks. Has anyone seen this used in an examination?
