Has anyone heard very much on this topic at all? It appears the legislature approved this in April, but I have not seen anything about it unless I have gone digging for it.

The May issue of the WBA Compliance Journal and the DFI website both appear silent on this, but it is in the bill AB822.

The Statue has been changed and the way I read it, any loan made after 04/18/18 is exempt from the requirement to pay interest. See paragraph 5.
