The question came up in committee about whether to accept private policies or not (as a standard). Does your bank, as a policy, accept private flood insurance for borrowers? Should there be a conversation about catastrophic floods (think Katrina) and private insurer insolvency?

Well, apparently they are not working again. Even as the OP, I can't vote.

Apparently, I still don't have permission to vote. But we do accept private flood insurance. I've even seen a few policies that have a page that specifically address each of the requirements for accepting private policies. Really handy.

We do accept private/catastrophe policies.
