Yes. But it is their actual signature not just their initials.

If you open or change accounts using e-sign, I would think electronic signature in whatever signing ceremony you do would be acceptable. I'll take a signed copy that someone brings in or scans me. I don't have to watch them sign the certification.

We don't do it, but we are working toward using e-sign. I don't see any issue in accepting electronic signatures, so long as E-Sign compliance requirements are met.
