Has there been any word on which direction FinCEN is going to go with this?

Nothing official. I attended a conference in which a FinCEN representative spoke. She stated that it may be extended again, but couldn’t commit to specifics on a timeframe for publication or length of extension if any.

This has got to be the worst yet for fed regs. It places banks squarely in the middle of the ring when this whole thing could have been dispatched to the states SOS offices. These agencies need to be reigned in and made to account for their actions. Where is the cost benefit analysis of such a rule? What about the Pres's statement about having no new rules unless?
