My Bank is making a loan to develop a residential lot subdivision. The Bank will also finance construction starts on an individual unit basis once the residential lot subdivision is complete. We will order model appraisals for each model in the subdivision. Will we be able to use the model home appraisals to value each of the homes to be built in the subdivision as long as the appraisal meets the agencies' appraisal requirements and is still valid? Or are we required to obtain appraisals for each home being built in the subdivision?
