With advertisements is it all right to state "Member FDIC/DIF" or do we need to state " Member FDIC and Member DIF"

There is an old opinion out there (so old I can't find it) that you must state those memberships separately. Something to do with "Member FDIC/DIF" makes it look like that's one membership. I have never hear of that opinion changing.

I'm sure you do, Pam. My guess is that someone at Kaycee's bank is wondering if it would be more efficient to jam the two together, And Kaycee is trying to see if there's a requirement that they be separately stated. Problem is, it's most likely one of those DOB opnions or guidance documents that dates back to before Tom Curry's days as Commissioner and can't be found on the DOB website.
