From what I've read, MIP for FHA loans is not the same as PMI, specifically when it comes to Annual Disclosure Requirements. Can anyone confirm, please? Are the Annual Disclosure Requirements for MIP also under the HPA?

FHA has their own MIP disclosure that they require to be sent on an annual basis. Check out the FAQs on HUD's website for the exact citation and requirements.

If you are the servicer, you mean your servicing people do not know how to comply with FHA servicing requirements?

I am simply confirming we/they are fully compliant. Annual disclosures go out for Conventional PMI detailing the rules around cancellation. For FHA loans we service, however, I am looking for clarification of our annual disclosure obligations. The handbook doesn't spell this out - it discusses when HUD will cancel and when it's permitted, upon request, etc. but nothing about a regular/annual notice.

As far as I am aware there isn't one. If it was, it would be in that section of the Handbook or under the annual disclosure section. FHA is not covered under the HPA as it is not private mortgage insurance.
