I am ready to evacuate the building and return home (I am in NY and no one else seems to see the need)

Central Georgia checking in. We fared very well through the storm last night. Much more fortunate than those in the Florida panhandle and south Georgia.

saw that close to 800,000 people between florida, georgia, alabama, and south carolina are currently without power...and that over 20,000 power crews were already working to restore. hopefully that happens quickly so some small sense of normalcy can be restored.

I saw some of this yesterday afternoon and it looked like the Valdosta area got hit pretty badly - I was worried about Joker in her swamp.

All's good in the swamp...thank you! VTown actually got it easy compared to counties west and north of here. I still can't seem to get a handle on Jackie Briggs [Bagweaver]. Her area was hit really hard.

I can also vouch for RRBecca, although her office is without power and closed today.

Thanks for the update, Joker - on everyone. I used to live outside of Macon (Gray), but don't think they were hit nearly as hard as the south part of GA.

Hope everyone else is doing well and is recovering. My family in Panama City fared pretty well.

Oh wow! Did they STAY? And they fared well? PC looks devastated to me . I have friends in Mexico Beach...I'm not holding my breath on their home or Charter boat making it through.

Yes - including my 93 year old aunt (one of her sons and daughters-in-law stayed with her). They don't live close to the beach. Cousin's house sustained some damage - but not as bad as it could have been. Lost trees and some siding with a little leakage.

Glad to hear Joker and Becca made it through ok. Looks like Becca has a crack cleanup crew!
