Good morning,

I am performing a Home Equity Line of Credit review and in all of the files we have a separate document signed by the borrower(s) that is called a 'Tax Advice Waiver'. I am familiar with the Reg Z requirement and that information is on our credit agreement, but I'm looking to see if there is a TN law for a separate disclosure. So far I am unable to find one. Is anyone familiar with anything or are we just providing more documents than necessary?

Thank you!

I can't find anything. Might ask your doc prep representative as to the source of the disclosure.

Thank you Randy. Right now I'm pretty sure this was required long before the current compliance team was put in place.
