Marketing had worked on some credit card promotional materials which includes an "as of" date for the APR. With all the changes to the prime rate this past year, Marketing is concerned about having to keep updating this material to provide a more recent "as of" date for the rate. They are now working on branch material (take ones, etc.) that will have the current "as of" date and rate but we understand that the Fed will likely bump it up again the end of the year and they are concerned with again having outdated material. Has anyone else had to deal with this and came up with a solution? Thank you for the consideration.

As long as the rates were effective within 30 days of publication, then you can use these until the supply is exhausted or you choose to update them. Most banks will footnote any specific rate mentioned in a brochure or take one with a "check with us for the most current rates" statement and a contact number, although that is not specifically required.

Thank you for the response. Marketing tries to keep the information current but with frequent rate changes, makes it challenging.
