Hi

I have a duplicate loan and I need to deal with...what is the best course of action in cancelling a duplicate loan?

Do you mean you have a duplicate loan number, or the same loan is entered twice?

If it's the latter, simply delete one.

Same loan - different loan number - second loan was created in error.

You report applications for HMDA, not loan numbers. If you don't have a seperate application for a file, then delete the file.
