I submitted a question to the FinCEN help desk by email two weeks and have not gotten a response. I followed up and left a message by phone last week.

Can anyone say whether or not this is typical? I've generally gotten responses within a day or two.

I was wondering the same thing. I sent email on 11/08 and left phone message on 11/19 and still no response.

I'm still waiting on two separate emails and a voicemail dating back to 9/17/18. Previous inquires were answered within a week. Maybe I was just lucky before.

Maybe it depends on your question but we e-mailed them a couple of weeks ago (a question about adding a BO to a report we needed to file) and got a call back the next morning (maybe because of the timeframe to file the report they knew we couldn't wait a couple of weeks).

P.S. It kills me that they respond back with a call versus an e-mail....
