We're doing a review of abandoned property submitted to New York State, and our compliance staff is telling me that HSA's and accounts belonging to minors are not remitted. I can't find anything in state law or IRS pubs that would exclude these types of accounts from being considered unclaimed/abandoned.

Can anyone either direct me to info or opine?
