Can I force place (fp) with our regular fp company or do I have to pay the the existing agent to renew?

I thought I read somewhere that said if you are going to fp, then it must be the lessor of the 2 above.

I cannot find it anywhere.

Has the borrower cancelled the policy? Otherwise, how would you not receive a renewal notice? They are required to send it to you. I would be contacting the agent to see what is going to before I did anything.

For whatever reason, the renewal notice was not received and attempts to contact the insurance agent were unsuccessful.

And what does the customer say?

a 45-day letter was sent with no response from the borrower.

Is there a ruling that instead of using the banks FP company that the bank should just pay up the last insurance company since we have already collected the premiums through escrow?

Last flood policy was $528 and FP policy is $1928.

Do you not reach out to your customer personally in this type of situation?
