well all, Christmas season is upon us, so i am opening an ongoing bar that people can wander in and out of at their leisure...plenty of food, drinks, snacks, presents, a nice fire - everything you need to enjoy the holiday festivities...so if you have a few minutes, come on in and take a load off your feet and have a few minutes of Christmas cheer...

how come the time that this thread started says "Today at 4:41 pm" when it's still only 1:30 pm EasternTime?

Because when they fired up the new BOL servers they use GMT instead of EDT - you have to add a minus 5 hours to your post display times in your preferences.

When one has already had four of the cranberry margarita's, one doesn't pay attention to the time of posts.

Cranberry Margaritas- Just make a regular margarita, and you can either add cranberry juice, or I sometimes boil down fresh cranberries with a little sugar and then drain. I sugar the rims with red and green sugar and voila! I have made over ice and frozen. YUMMY!

Also- winter cosmos- use cranberry vodka!

My side gig for many many years was bar tending at some high end bars... got lots of good drink recipes!

so when your spouse/signifcant other asks what time you got to the bar, BOL adjusted it for you so you wouldn't have to lie!

Well I did wonder if it was due to me not being able to see straight.....
