Deeq - have you been up to see it? I saw an article and it looks awesome...and price is comparable to Empire State Building as well.

Not Deeq but I live relatively close and it looks great. Depending on when you go, the line to enter is significant.

Way, way south.
Have you seen the new addition to the Guggenheim? I did that. It really didn't take that long, either.

Because I'm a drunk and a degenerate. Hardly the type of man that you bring a young lady around.

The Sony Wonder Technology Lab on Madison Ave. is free, but you still need to make reservations. All ages can enjoy it.
I've done the subways, but if you really want to see the city and the architecture, take at least one trip in a taxi.
Make sure you visit Grand Central Station, too.

We are going to NYC over Presidents weekend. Any must see's for that time of year? I see there is some kind of ice sculpture deal going on in Central Park which looks fun. Any restaurant suggestions? We aren't looking for anything fancy ... just fun/good food. Thanks.

We had a fabulous time in NYC. The weather was not perfect, record cold, even too cold for the Ice Sculpture carving in Central Park. You know its cold when its too cold for ice. Did the Hop On Hop Off Bus which was a lifesaver with the cold weather. Saw Time Square, Rockefeller Center, went to the Top of the Rock at Night, Statue of Liberty, Bryant Park, Empire State Building, 911 Memorial, St. Patrick's Cathedral, Grand Central Station, and did a walking tour through Soho, Little Italy and Chinatown. Loved the little deli's to pick up breakfast and lunch. Great time and can't wait to go again.

So, we leave on June 15. We are staying at the Sheraton New York Times Square (I think someone mentioned it earlier in the thread).

Here is our list of activities:
-Empire State Building
-Times Square
-Rockettes
-9/11 Tour
-Pasticeria Rocco- Peanut Butter Pie
-Today Show
-St. Patrick's Cathedral
-Little Italy
-Wicked
-Central Park (carriage ride and zoo)
-Statue of Liberty/Ellis Island
-Chinatown

My Mom is joining us and I couldn't get her or my daughter on board for a museum. :'( That's okay- I think we have a lot of fun things planned! I'll let you know how goes after we return! Thanks again to everyone for the suggestions!

You know, I just realized Grand Central Station isn't on our list. Is it a must???
