I have received a letter from an attorney representing the personal representative for the Estate of one of our customers. They are requesting bank information on the accounts of the decedent, however; there is a joint owner on that bank accounts. If I remember correctly, I can't give out the information without the consent of that joint owner. Is this correct?

It's OK to provide info up to the date of death on the joint accounts including the amount of any interest earned to that date in the year of death.
