What ORIGINAL LOAN docs should banks keep for Retention? I am in the Florida tab and have looked and am not sure. Here are the documents we think should be kept in original format:
Guarantee
Letter of Credit
Mortgage
Notice of Lien
Power of Attorney
Promissory Note
Security Agreement

I think you really need to consult legal counsel on this. You are not going to take any action based on any answers that you get here anyway.

We have consulted legal but our team that actually has been to court have suggested other docs as well so was looking for what those on here have experienced.

You used a legal team that has not been to court? Either copies of certain documents are admissible or they are not.

Clarification - Legal said those listed. Legal team here are the folks that actually go to court for the bank so they suggested additional items we might want to have as they have been asked for them... Thank you.
