Right now we're sitting at $2.59 in my home town, but $2.85 where I work. Hoping prices start to drop since I will have to fill up this weekend.

Soaring over Georgia
Around $2.55 here in a upscale lake community in central Georgia. Little less in nearby towns. Enjoyed experiencing $2.08 - $2.25 on our drive through southern Alabama, Mississippi, and Louisiana the past few days on our way to New Orleans and back. Closer to the refineries in the Gulf area and lower gas taxes does make a difference.

Around $2.25 here. I assume it's because the stations have switched to their summer blends.

You are here
The gas prices in NY go up when they switch to summer blends and when they switch back.

That's just part of it. Other areas have summer and winter blends and their prices are not as high.

N.Y.'s gasoline taxes highest in continental U.S.
"The main reason is New York has as many as seven state taxes that add up to 45 cents per gallon"

even at 45 cents per gallon, NY falls well short of the 58 cents pennsylvania charges, 49 cents from washington, and 48 cents from california...interesting who charges what...
