Last September when MSA delineations were revised, a county in my bank's assessment was "moved" from one MSA to another one. Normally, I simply run reports for branch addresses and geographies, assessment area details, and maps from my HMDA/CRA data system to include in the bank's public file. My HMDA/CRA data system has not yet been updated with the MSA revisions or 2018 demographic data.

I can manually change the MSA codes in these reports, but it won't necessarily match the demographic data that is included. Has anyone else run into similar issues as a result of MSA revisions and a delay in system updates?

I think the standard is to follow FFIEC, and when they release their revisions in accordance with the OMB. If FFIEC has it listed here: (https://www.ffiec.gov/census/htm/2015CensusInfoSheet.htm) then I would say you are good to go to update vs not.
