How many times is a company allowed to retry an ACH payment that was returned. A customer had an ACH item returned​ NSF on 5/29 to XYZ Company. On 6/5, the "retry payment" transaction was returned NSF. The company is attempting to debit the customer again today with the description "retry payment" description. The customer hasn't had any additional payments to this company returned since 6/5 so it has to be the same payment. If this isn't allowed, what return reason would we use to return the payment?
