Pulling people out of the ditc...
For all the notherners and midwesterners that laugh when we in the south complain about 35 degree weather in the winter being cold...welcome to 100 degree summer days...enjoy those 110+ heat indexes...

Where I am supposed to be
Bring it on. We were -55 wind chill on January 29th and 150 days later we had a heat index of 110. Not many places outside of MN have temperature swings of 165 degrees in less than 6 months. We chew it up and spit it out. (And complain about it all the way through) smile smirk

Me either. I'm heading to warmer locales when the temps hit 20. I don't do cold.

20 degrees is about the perfect temp! sitting on a bucket in the middle of a frozen lake hoping for a fish, 20 degrees and sunny doesn't get much better. 55 below wind chill makes it tough though, it's better than 110

Hey, heat index is only going to be 105 where I am, not 110! Regardless, my butt is pool bound all weekend!

This would be cruel and unusual punishment for me. I'm most comfortable in the 85-90 range. We get about 4 of those days a year in OK and they're wonderful. laugh

I would rather be sweating than freezing. That's why I choose to live in he11's armpit. wink

I'd rather my lungs freeze than deal with chewing air in some of this humidity. Blizzards are much easier to deal with than hurricanes, tornados, earthquakes, super sized bugs. You can always add clothes on, but there is only so many layers of clothes you can take off

Yeah, but 110 doesn't make roads un-driveable either. I guess it's all up to individual preferences, but i hate ice....and we don't really get snow...we get ice. I mean..i'd rather it be 78 degrees and 0% humidity all the time, but i'll take the occasional 108 over -10.
