we have a customer whose insurance agent says NFIP policies are sold in increments of $50k. So for a $153k valued building he will need $200k of flood insurance -

I have never heard this before but before I say nonsense I thought I would check with you all.

Time to start looking for a new agent... The FEMA rate tables are broken down in $100 increments and the example policies in the FEMA agent handbooks give various examples that aren't multiples of $50k.
