Does customer need to sign and complete verification of employment if they get a K-1. They have part of business and this due self employment they say the get a k-1. Thanks for the advice.

A K-1 would involve the distribution/reporting of partnership income, it would not report employment income. Employment income would be reported on a W-2 or a 1099.
