We have been approached by a person in another country with a business in the US that wants to open a business and personal account with the bank. He would not be able to come in person to sign account documents and we would not be able to meet the foreign client in person. We currently are not set up for online account opening. We have met one of the partners (5% owner) that lives in town. The business seems on the ups.

Looking for input on what concerns we should be aware of if we do decide to bank them.

If you don't do this on a regular basis and don't have the policies and procedures set up to handle it, including how you CIP a person that is not present in your board approved CIP policy, why bother?
