Is there any state law that says the bank cannot close for lunch? Covering all my bases... Thanks!

You need to review: 655.89 Legal holidays; business days; business and transactions.

Kind of defeats the idea that someone that works fulltime and needs to go to the bank might do it over their lunch hour, does it not?

I do hope that your question about closing for lunch isn't connected to a "one-person" branch that some people have asked about. Either idea is a bad one, IMHO.

If one of the branches wants to changes regular hours from 9-5 to 10-4, does this require any more than posting on the door the changes with direction to another branch in the area? (And updating CRA file)

Thank you.

Lele, I cannot tell the documentational or legal requirements, but it might be a potentially bad idea if the branch was in a LMI area or was in or serviced majority/minority tracts. Check the redlining exam steps in Fair Lending
