You could do so to avoid having to provide the disclosure. But consider your customer's position first.
The SC is the legal equivalent of the original check. Your customer can use it as if it were the original, including redepositing it to try to collect the check a second time.
If you provide your customer a copy (image or otherwise) of the SC, he or she will have to obtain a new check from the remitter or petition you for an SC.
Don't equate deliver of the SC with expedited recrediting. Certainly, expedited recrediting isn't legally available to your customer without having been given an SC, but properly managed the expedited recrediting process won't even apply in the vast majority of cases.
