According to my local news station, you're supposed to eat pizza today because it's pi day (3.14). They said it's also National Take a Nap day due to the time change.

I have a special kind of hatred for stores (of any kind) that maliciously stock children's toys and candy at the check out aisle. It's a cruel twisted act committed against the parent who, by the time they have reached checkout, is ready to get the [censored] out of the store.
I let the manager at Academy know this weekend that I thought it was frickin ridiculous.

There's goes my productivity for the afternoon. My wife texted and asked if I could do some shopping online at Childrens Place. They were having sales starting at $1.99 for tops. 20 mins later I got a few things and my motivation went out the window! I guess I should feel lucky as she trusts me to buy things without her seeing first
