Would it be good to include something similar to the following on our flood renewal letters (with regard to private flood insurance):
If flood insurance is written through a private third party insurance company, the policy must be equivalent to or greater than flood insurance coverage written through the NFIP (National Flood Insurance Program). Please make your insurance agent aware of this requirement.
Thoughts?? Are others doing something similar on their flood renewal notice letters to borrowers?
