YES!!!!!! The mother my childhood best fried used to make this fairly often. Certainly was divine!

Anyway - my favorite holiday treats?
Eggnog
Pumpkin Pie
My mother's turkey dressing - not sure if that counts as a "treat," but I look forward to that more than anything else!

So Cal
My grandmother makes an awesome pumpkin pie. She then takes the leftover dough from the crust (yes, the pie crust is home made) and makes miniature cinnamon rolls about the diameter of a silver dollar and a half-inch thick. They're slightly crispy/flaky and slightly chewy at the same time. MMMM...

Deviled Eggs. My husband went hunting Thanksgiving Day. I was craving some of my Momma's Deviled Eggs so I made just a few for the second time ever. By the time he got home after dark all the Deviled Eggs were gone. Pfftt. Nothing. Nada. Zilch. No evidence.

Just to be sure, your sweetie does not look at BOL? If so, you may be trying to replicate the recipe for the 3rd time.
