Since the day after Thanksgiving is not an actual holiday, but some lenders are closed that day does it have to count as a general business day?

Under Regulation Z, a general business day is a day on which the creditor's offices are open to the public for carrying on substantially all of its business functions.

I've never seen a bank close on Black Friday. Would be curious where this happens.

Non-bank lenders usually close when the title companies are closed, and most are closed the day after Thanksgiving.

Last I knew, in Nevada, the day after Thanksgiving is a state holiday. But I don't know whether banks close on that day.

We were closed on Friday and did not considered it a general business day since we were not open for normal business activity. FYI
