Personal congratulations to Dorothy Savarese, chairman and CEO of Cape Cod Five Mutual Company, the holding company for Cape Cod Five Cent Savings Bank in Orleans, who was named yesterday the 2020 president of the Federal Reserve Board's Community Depository Institutions Advisory Council (CDIAC). She was first appointed to Federal Reserve Bank of Boston's CDIAC in 2018, and chaired that group in 2019, when she was also appointed to the Fed Board's CDIAC.

Ms. Savarese is past chairman of the American Bankers Association, and also served on the FDIC's Advisory Committee on Community Banking.
