We tried to submit our 2019 data today and received the following error 'A web transmission error has occurred'. Has anyone else received this?

I have been receiving it repeatedly since Friday. I have emailed CRAHelp and submitted a technical error report...no response!

I have a file to get in and may result to emailing the encrypted data.

I inquired with my personal contacts at the Fed and they told me they would check it out tomorrow. As soon as I hear from them I will post here

The FFIEC site was down completely over the weekend.

Oh - not good! We did attempt to file this morning and received the same message.

Here is the response I received from my contact at the Fed.

It looks like our system has been processing web submissions. If those institutions are still having problems submitting, they can send a submission file to crasub@frb.gov

Thank you! I did have that as our fall back plan. I guess if we can't file by Friday then we'll do it this way.

What website are you using to upload your CRA files?

We use the CRA Software and go through 'Submission via Web'.

It is the FFIEC software that is failing, using its web submission choice, the preferred method.

After several days of attempting to file through the Web we were getting ready to submit via encrypted e-mail; however after the final try this morning we successfully filed through the Web.

I was also able to finally submit my client’s file via the FFIEC web software. I also finally received an email response acknowledging that there had been a problem and saying it is now working normally. Only took a week.

We were able to transmit also on the 27th via the software and received a confirmation that the data was successfully transmitted. We haven't received an edit report or the IRS Confirmation. Has any one had issues with this?

We didn't. Ours came almost immediately.
