I'm new to CRA and just discovered that I need to Certify my CRA Program/Book before March 31st.

Can anyone share insight as to how you are certifying your program/book? Do you use a form and place it in your CRA Public File? If so, are you willing to share?

I have no idea what Certify my CRA Program/Book means??

Reg BB - Community Reinvestment Act - CRA Public File is required to be updated annually by March 31st.

According to an outside audit firm we use, we have to 'document' the fact that the CRA Public File was updated.

I'm just curious what others are doing to evidence updating their CRA Public File.

Re-date the documents.

I use a checklist that includes the date of review by 2 people in our Compliance Department.

A best practice is to put a statement in your CRA public file that it has been reviewed by the CRA officer "XXXX" and is up to date as of April 1, 202X. If you need to make changes during the year, such as you open a new branch or change your AA delineation, then include the new information and put a note in the file that it is updated as of XXX.
