Any thoughts on if the NMLS #/info must be on
each loan application? Let's say we use an initial application to take the phone application then have the customer sign the printed ("final") application at a later date. Do we need the NMLS info on the initial app?
I find this a little ridiculous considering the customer will never see the phone application but question the wording of the commentary to .36(g)(1):
Inclusion of name and NMLSR ID. Section 1026.36(g)(1) requires the inclusion of loan originator names and NMLSR IDs on each loan document.
