Is there a restriction on duplexing open-end periodic statements? I cannot find in 1026.7(a) or (b) that there are any restrictions to using both sides of the paper. In 1026.7(b) there is reference to items that need to be on the front of the first page. From this, I surmise that it is okay to print on the back of the page as well. I often see statement paper with the billing rights notice on the back, but we send the long notice annually.

I've never heard that it would not be permitted.

Using front & back of a page is specifically permitted, so long as the final mailing is an "integrated document." See 1026.5(a)(1), OI #4.
