I'm just curious how and who handles Reg E investigations at other FI's? We currently have our eBranch manager & assistant manager investigating them along with all of their other duties which includes taking phone calls throughout the day. Our eBranch stays very busy and I know they struggle staying on top of the number of claims we get every day. Does anyone have one specific full time employee who handles these claims/investigations as their only job? Do you have a certain department that handles them? While our eBranch does a fantastic job at handling the investigations, I know it is a burden with all they have to do and just wondering if we should look at suggesting a move to a different department. Just curious what other FI's do.
