We are in the early stages of setting up Online Account Opening. For those of you who already have it, how are the new accounts coded to a branch? Are they coded to an online branch, coded to the branch that serves their zip code? What department processes your accounts opened online? eBanking, call center, a slower brick-and-mortar branch? Any insight is appreciated!

Ours are coded as on-line and our call center folks handle them and the processing.

Ours are coded to an online only branch number in our home state regardless of the location of the customer. Accounts are processed in the same department that processes customer information changes along with our security/fraud department and bookkeeping.
