Is anyone aware of any state record retention requirements for tax levies? Not only from the state, but we sometimes get them from the IRS, the county (child support), or the unemployment office. I have not been able to find any guidance regarding any of these types of levies. If anyone could point me in the right direction, it would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

In Chapter DFI - Bkg 9, Retention of Books and Records, under General: Attachments, court orders, garnishments & releases are 10 years. I think you would be safe in retaining records of levies for 10 years.

If you're still unsure, run it by your bank's legal counsel.
