We know that he POA ceases at death, however, we have a request from AIF who is requesting bank statements during the time period in which the Principal was alive. We had not previously accepted this POA and it is just now being presented after death. My thoughts are regardless of what the AIF is requesting the authority ceased upon death and that they need to coordinate with the executor who now has the authority on the account. Giving out information could put the bank in bad spot. Thoughts?

Totally agree. The POA is extinguished at the time of death of the principal. They need to get with the executor.
