I have a flood question please. We have a property that has a mobile home and a detached garage. The mobile home is not in the flood zone, the detached garage is. My question is, the detached garage is also used to sell used cars from it as a hobby. It has a small office in it with a desk, file cabinet and phone. He keeps about 2-4 cars to sell at a time. Since it is used for this purpose, would it then require flood insurance? Thank you!

IMO it's being used for a part time business therefore it would not qualify for the detached structure exemption.
