For audit purposes, can someone tell me which EIPs were allowed to be garnished and which were not? Seems it was different with at least one of the stimulus packages, so I want to be sure I know what was allowed and not allowed with regard to these funds and garnishments. Thanks.

EIP2 direct deposited payments were flagged with the "XX" signifying they were subject to Treasury's regulation on garnishments of federal benefit payments. EIP1 nd EIP3 were not flagged for that purpose.

Some states have protected EIP payments.
